IAN THOMPSON

IAN THOMPSON, was born in Kitchener Ontario, Ian and his family have lived in Nanaimo
since 1991, previous to real estate Ian was in the Radio Industry and most recently was the
Sales Manager of Island Radio which operated stations in Nanaimo north to Campbell
River. Ian and his wife Carol have been married for 26 years and have three children,
Jordan, Kevin and Bailey. Giving back to the community is something Ian has always
believed in and has served on numerous boards and foundations including the United Way,
SPCA, Boy Scouts of Canada, and The Rotary Club of Nanaimo North and currently is the
Chair of the Nanaimo and District Hospital Foundation. Ian’s father was a realtor, so he has
the understanding of the commitment required to ensure each customer feels they received
